He has calmed down off of drugs over these past few years, giving him a view on exactly what he has done to his mind.

It is a frightening place, but he finds that dancing with these issues is a way to face them and look past them, instead of letting them drag him down.

"Sometimes when you get left in the dark for so long, you manifest. You imagine the worst case scenario. I really have been through a heap of shit these past few years, and I will express myself through my music, even if it means exposing things that hurt. This is me, this is what happened, and I've never felt so alive in my life."
