Following nearly a decade in the California-area metal scene, multi-instrumentalist Koh Okada began recording an album as Monkey Monks.
He did everything -- wrote the songs, played the instruments, programmed the music, and engineered it -- and did it all by himself. The resulting album, M, explored a style of industrial metal that Okada derived from various influences: Prong, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Sepultura, and many other early-'90s metal performers. ~ Jason Birchmeier
