Mizery Q.O.C surpasses most artists today because of her lyrical ability, which captures the attention of all, in this male dominated game. Mizery cannot be compared to any female emcee, partially because her inspiration range is predominately males yet varies between legends from KRS ONE, SCARFACE, to Chyna White, Jill Scott to Lauryn Hill. Even though her influence is an array of artist Mizery remains true to her unique style and she owns it and the stage.

Mizery Q.O.C has performed in Ohio’s local Hip Hop scene since the mid 90’s.During which she performed at Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater & tore the house down. “Tha Queen of Crunk” was recently honored by WUGR (one of Columbus’s hottest internet radio station) for her involvement in the local underground movement.

Mizery is the spokesperson for the: Vaginal Movement, Vicious Buckeye Vixenz, Trybal Tungz, DNC, Soul Sisters Inc of Ohio and many other female hip hop empowerment groups.

When she’s not being an activist for female hip hop equality and liberation, you can catch Mizery shutting shows down, sending M.C.’s back to the drawing board in search of better punch lines. Her lyrics indicates tha she's never backs down for any challenge;
