Born in Hammersmith, West London, the artist known as Mister Jack has garnished many accolades over the years for his brand of music that is an anthemic mix of what he calls “power pop, punk, rock, ska and a hint of British humor”.
A solo artist who is backed up by members of the band Squeeze, his sound has been compared to that of Jilted John, Madness, The Clash, Tim Armstrong, Mike Skinner & Jamie T.

While his love for music gave him the initiative to become a self-taught guitarist by the age of 10, Mister Jack began writing guitar riffs which caught the attention of many while performing in UK punk rock bands from 2004-2006. He continued writing and performing throughout his teen years, but became a solo artist in September 2008 with the release of his debut single “Dream A Little Dream” on Arival Records.

Mister Jack quickly followed his debut release with several other singles, including “See You Upstairs” in November 2008, “Ain’t Gonna Letchu Go” in August 2009, and a revised released of his debut single “Dream A Little Dream” in December 2009. “My Girl Sharon” was released in May 2010, followed by “Pretty Damn Cool” in August 2010.

The releases of Mister Jack’s singles have been bolstered by his popularity as a very popular artist on the web’s most popular social networking sites. An enormous amount of positive responses to his music on MySpace, YouTube and Facebook led an exclusive feature in the Reggae section of Bebo.com. He became the 18th most viewed musician on YouTube UK. Garageband.com awarded him numerous honors for his songs including Track Of The Day, Track Of The Week, Best Male Vocal, Best Lyrics, Best Melody, and Best Feel Good Track, all of which helped to increase his ranking on the ReverbNation reggae charts to the number 8 spot.

American audiences were not out of reach for the online sensation’s music when he became the featured artist in August 2009 on Pax Stereo TV, the leading U.S. aggregator of internet television for his single “Ain’t Gonna Letchu Go”.

Mister Jack had a very merry Christmas in 2009, launching the weekly show Mister Jack TV. Due to the popularity of his debut single “Dream A Little Dream” he re-released it as “Dream A Little Dream This Christmas” which had 26,000 YouTube views during the four weeks leading up to Christmas. The almost instantaneous surge in popularity left him with hordes of YouTube honors including the 18th most viewed video of the day, the 38th most viewed video of the week, and the 68th most viewed of the month.

“My Girl Sharon” earned an abundance of YouTube honors, and secured plays on BBC Essex FM, BFBS RADIO and various other regional radio stations and clubs, paving the way for his new single “Pretty Damn Cool”. Although he had an opportunity to tour Eastern Europe, he declined the offer to once again fully focus his attention on the U.K. market.

“Pretty Damn Cool,” exploded in its first week on YouTube with 15,000 views in the first week. The video was a mixture of animation and film, capturing a total of 50,000 views. The single was played all across the country by well-established broadcasters including BBC Essex, BBC Cambridgeshire, BBC Nottingham, BFBS, Future Radio and many others.

Describing his musical style, he says, “I love the ska rhythms and hooks, punk riffs and chants, and the bass lines and hooks of reggae. I like to take poppy hooks you might expect in any top ten hit and incorporate that kind of bubble gum pop into the styles I grew up with – punk , ska and reggae.
