When recently interviewed sheexpressed her passion for the genre as follows: “If you are going to be a part of Hip Hopculture, you need to appreciate all the elements it has to offer. It isimportant for people to understand that Hip Hop is about peace, love and unityversus the (popular) misconceptions of its culture.”

Where did Miranda grow up? I was bornin Manhattan however I was raised in New Jersey. I moved around a decent amountwhich is probably why I am so social and able to adapt easily to mysurroundings. I've lived in Monroe, New Jersey since 7th grade which is where Icurrently reside. At the end of the day, Monroe is home sweet home because thisis the place that inspired me to pick up the notebook.

What inspired her to want to be anMC? I've always loved Hip Hop andeverything about it….the creativity, the wordplay, the style, the freedom,how can you not love MC's? But all in all there is more to it than just that.I've always loved to write, English was my favorite subject, I just like beingable to express myself. My sophomore year of high school I spent basicallyevery day writing but I wasn't being heard. One day I was like let me just flipthis over a beat and see how it feels. It felt so good; it was that moment thatI knew right then and there, yo this is me! This is what I'm meant to do! Iwant to make a positive difference in the world. I feel my purpose is biggerthan just the music or entertainment. It's to open eyes and inspire. I want tobe a testimony to follow your dreams, because “all things are possible”.

Who are Miranda’s Musical Influences? Herfavorite MC is Eminem however loves and respects many artists such as Wu Tang, Jay Z, 2Pac, Biggie, Hopsin, MissyElliot, MC Lyte, J Cole, Slick Rick, Lauryn Hill, KRS One, Immortal Technique,Rakim and Yelawolf. It's so hard to namea favorite MC because there are so many that inspire me for different reasons.Music is amazing because there is so much of it. Even if you're the type ofperson that listens to music all day every day there will always be somethingyou haven't heard.
