Born and raised in Eureka, California, Utah-based singer/songwriter Mindy Gledhill spent some of her formative years in Spain (where she learned to speak the language fluently) before studying at Brigham Young University.
She released her debut album, The Sum of All Grace, on the Latter Day Saint-oriented label Lumen in 2004, which earned her a pair of 2005 Pearl Awards for Best Inspirational Album and Best New Artist. Gledhill left the label the following year to pursue a more secular, indie pop sound, releasing the albums Feather in the Wind (2007), Anchor (2010), the Christmas-themed Winter Moon (2011), and the Cason Cooley (Sixpence None the Richer, Katie Herzig) produced Pocketful of Poetry (2013) independently. ~ James Christopher Monger
