MIKE ROCKET AND THE STARS are a band with one foot in New Jersey and the other in New York.
Their live shows are packed with energy and enthusiasm. Their blend of rock, pop, and jam appeals to an extremely wide audience.

MIKE ROCKET also performs as a solo singer-songwriter act around the country. Dubbed "the hardest working man in showbiz" by some, he is different from many artists in his relentless, fearless, self-promoting, and outside-the-box tactics. Rocket often sets up and performs in places like Times Square, outside stadium concerts, at network television shows, and by the entrances of large festivals in order to expose his music to the masses.To date, he has been seen/heard on national television as well as on major New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia radio stations.

In 2013, Rocket handed his music the the legendary Clive Davis. Davis introduced "Mike Rocket" to the audience. Mr. Davis said, "As Mike Rocket points it out: 'Hard work', 'tenacity', belief, and you just keep doing it."

and you just keep doing it.

Over the past few months, Rocket has been setting up and playing in Times Square and

at large festivals including Firefly Music Festival, The Governors Ball, & SXSW.

AM 1230 WFAS, White Plains, NY has been playing several of Rocket's songs during the

"Orlando In The Morning" show.

Rocket has been opening and performing "Gotta Get To The Jersey Shore" with The

Nick Clemons Band.

Rocket recently received a great review by Ray Chelstowski, formerly of Rolling Stone.

In January, Mike Rocket & The Stars performed Light of Day Parkinson's festival in

Asbury Park, NJ.

Prior to 2013:

Rocket received international press as an Associated Press picture of him performing

outside the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief was published.

Mike Rocket And The Stars were the first official showcase act of SXSW 2012.

Since 2006, Mike Rocket's song, "America's Got Talent", has aired numerous times on

NBC.

Rocket performed the CMJ Music Festival in 2012 for the third time.

Mike Rocket & The Stars performed The CBGB Festival 2012.

"Gotta Get To The Jersey Shore" has been on several radio and television shows. It was

briefly in the Top 10 on the Amazon.com roots rock and miscellaneous charts in 2010.

Rocket has appeared several times on The Early Show (CBS). Dave Price has promoted

him multiple times.

Rocket has been on stage with Bruce Springsteen a few times during the Light of Day

Parkinson's benefit concerts.

Rocket performed "I'm The Guy" at The Apollo Theater during Amateur Night.

Shortly after, Ben E. King told Mike, "I heard you cooked it up."

Mike Rocket has been nominated three times for the Asbury Music Awards and a

couple times for the Philly Music Awards.
