When German goth rock act End of Green were working on the finishing touches for their latest album, frontman Michelle Darkness decided to put some of his own ideas to tape, and released his first solo work in late 2007.
The album, released on AFM and entitled Brand New Drug, was a slab of commercial-style goth rock, complete with elements (i.e., moody tempos, dark lyrical themes, erotica, et al.) that drew comparison to artists such as H.I.M., Type O Negative, and the Sisters of Mercy. ~ Chris True
