Theater has been a life long passion. She has studied theater in Santa Barbara, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Syracuse, NY and London, England. Childress has been in the ensemble of "Jesus Christ Superstar" for ten runs at Salt City Center for the Performing Arts and in 2009 was "Maid by the Fire". Recently, she portrayed the"Announcement Clerk" in "Church Folk and Sunday Service" written by Marcia Hagan and performed at Second Olivet Baptist Church. She also was a member of the "Sheppard's Choir" in Open Hand Theater's production of "Amahl and the Night Visitors" in 2014 and 2012. Anne has worked with Paul Robeson Performing Arts Company (PRpac) since 2007 as a performer, stage manager and prop master. She has worked with Salt City Performing Arts Company as an actress/performer since 2001.
