Just trying to find my place in this crazy messed up world.
Everyone tells me I was born in the wrong era. I'm what they call and old soul apparently. I'm seen as a child to adults, but to people my age I'm so much older than 20. My life's motto consists of two country songs. The first being Humble and Kind by Tim McGraw. Its just a wholesome song about how you should always stay positive and be a good role model to the world. "Hold the door, say please, say thank you, don't steal, don't cheat, don't lie, I know you've got mountains to climb, always stay humble and kind." No matter how tough your life gets you should never forget to use your manners and be kind to everyone. I work at an elementary school and trust me when I say I've seen it all. So many kids nowadays don't have manners and are generally just undisciplined little monsters. Growing up my Momma taught me to ALWAYS use my manners no matter if I was grateful for the food on my plate, the roof over my head, the clothes on my back or not. The second song is Love Like Crazy by Lee Brice. I have always believed in love, not necessarily at first sight though. Love takes hard work and dedication like it says in the song " be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse i love you, go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense, never let your praying knees get lazy, and love like crazy." I take this song to heart. My current relationship is far from perfect, we fight, we make mistakes, we make each other mad sometimes. But, that's okay. No one ever said love was going to be easy. Love takes hard work and dedication and if you truly love someone it will never feel like work to make it work.
