I love to paint when I have time. I'm not always good at it, but it keeps me sane. All of the work in this "album" is classwork and stuff I drew/painted because I wanted too. All of these works are very personal and a part of me and who I am. The part of me "you" can't see.

      Bad Date. Another class assignment. Typical still life. We were being "taught" to do a glazing. For those of you who don't know what a glazing is, it is when you first paint something in a monochromatic color scheme and then "glaze" over it with other colors. Anyway I didn't have a horrible date at the time. I just find the name and imagery together amusing..

      Geometric Tree. I had the thought and image of a geometric tree stuck in my head so I drew it. It didn't exactly come out the way I saw it but I like it. Ink

      For color theory we were to choose one of the seven deadly sins and paint it. I chose (obviously) lust. I find the rest to be boring. The painting is purple and yellow (which was the other criteria, complimentary colors..) I think I chose purple and yellow because I wanted it to be dark and the other choices just didn't fit or wouldn't get the point across. I did this one back in 09?
