Undeniably some of the greatest producers in Southern Rap and the most prolific rap music producers to ever come out of Louisiana, The Medicine Men aka Beats By the Pound produce a large percentage of music released by No Limit Records in the late 1990’s.
Since leaving the label, The Medicine Men, consisting of the same producers as the original Beats by the Pound plus new talent DJ Don Juan, D Bazile, Elvin Presley and Richard Weber. Together The Medicine Men, formed Overdose Entertainment and is still producing some of the best beats, sounds out of Louisiana.
