Young and rebellious is the initial vibe you'll get when you listen to MDPC; a band formed by Ralph, Will, Oz, and Nick.
Their work can be described as an experience of hip hop and electronic dance music as they alternate between singing, rapping, and experimental musical arrangements. The group is mostly responsible for all their production from writing, producing, to editing their music videos and branding.
The crunk-pop group began recording in 2007 but their dynamic chemistry is greatly attributed to strong familial ties since childhood. Growing up in between cultures; a rich Dominican/Puerto-Rican heritage and the gritty New York metropolitan has influenced their music with diversity and a touch of emerging underground sounds. Will and his brother/co-producer, Dawin have been producing for other acts for more than a decade. Meanwhile, Nick, Ralph, and Oz have been firing up the club scene, with their DJ/MC skills. It was to no surprise that they would eventually come together to form the "Million Dollar Party Crew" and the 4 initials would take significance with their wild and adventurous nature.
MDPC gained international recognition with recent collaborations with Cash Money's DJ duo: The Stafford Brothers, Afrojack, Larry Tee (Ultra), Roxy Cottontail, Calvertron, and have been in the studio working with Chris Willis. Their song with the Stafford Brothers "Pressure" released under CR2 Records, reached the Top 10 in the electro house charts on Beatport and soared on the ARIA Club charts.
Their first official release, the 808 banger "Bomb Ass Chick" reached a great uproar across blogs & social media and was followed with two EP's, Fall Off The Planet and Bassgasm. With substantial groundwork in place, MDPC continues to grow their brand while preparing for their next release and kindly teasing “the best is yet to come.”
