Born in Denmark. Studied jazz at the Hochschule für Musik ”Hanns Eisler” in Berlin. Bass lessons / master classes with Preben Fahnøe, Bo Stief, Niels-Henning Ørsted-Pedersen, Ruben Giorgis, David Friesen, Palle Danielsson, Teppo Hauta-Aho and Marc Muellbauer. Other workshops with Jerry Granelli, John Hollenbeck, Jiggs Whigham, Thomas Clausen, Volker Schlott, Holger Nell and Niki Thärichen.

Founder of the NORTH ATLANTIC tonal ORGANISATION, an improvising string ensemble playing own compositions.

Played with: „Hanns Eisler“ Big Band, Max Nauta Trio (feat. Kasper Villaume, or at times Kevin McHugh) Rudy Stevenson, Ernst Bier, Jacob Anderskov, Nikolaj Bentzon, Leszek Możdżer, Ibadet Ramadani (super700), Jonas Johansen, Kresten Osgood, Kattorna, Danish Youth Symphony Orchestra, among others.

Performed at the Sydney Opera House (2002 with the DYSO), Roskilde Jazz Days (2006 with Max Nauta Trio, 2009 with the NAtO), Falun Folk Festival and Viljandi Folk Festival (both 1999 with the band Thonatax), Marigliano in Jazz (2010) and Ancona Jazz Summer Festival (2008) as a member of Kattorna, Jazzahead Bremen, Leipziger Jazztage.
