I am passionate about the spot where creative work, innovation, and social issues intersect, particularly in ways that are both internationally collaborative and rooted in communities.

I also love when travel and education come together, driven by a curiosity about the world - discovering its tastes, sights, sounds, and stories - and the thrill of introducing others to the people, places, and flavours I like best.

An on-the-sly musician, I've toured Eastern Canada and the U.S. as part of an eight-piece orchestral indie "danger folk" band (now known as "the Geese") playing violin , accordion, whistle and percussion. Also have played alongside numerous singer/songwriters in genres ranging from folk to indie dance/rock. A longtime fan of traditional East Coast music, I have numerous pub sets and kitchen parties under my belt - just don't ask me to step dance.
