Italian trumpet and guitar player, composer and singer.
Born in Bologna in 1974, he graduated with honours in trumpet with Igino Conforzi, specializing under the mentorship of Markus Stockhausen, Wynton Marsalis, Frits Damrow, Wolfgang Guggenberger, Max Sommerhalder, Giancarlo Parodi, Sergej Nakarjakov, Rex Richardson, Anthony Plog and Andrea Tofanelli. He performed as a solo trumpet player in chamber music, orchestra and organ concerts. As a guitar player and singer, he performed in numerous pop/rock music concerts, as well as theater performances. He received his University degree in “Didactics of Music” from the Conservatory “G. B. Martini” in Bologna, and in “Instrumental Didactics” (Trumpet) from the Conservatory “G. Frescobaldi” in Ferrara. Under the mentorship of Karin Greenhead, Louisa Di Segni-Jaffé and Ava Loiacono Husain, he later obtained the certificate of Rhythm Training for teaching musical education according to the Jaques-Dalcroze method. He currently teaches trumpet and guitar. He writes original music using a personal compositional technique called Dynamic polarization.
