Almost immediately I began writing my own songs, but I was heavily influenced by the artists I grew up listening to - Gordon Lightfoot, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Nick Drake, Sandy Denny, and others of that genre, as well as the classic rock of the time. In 1979 I began performing professionally, both as a solo act and also as a member of several bands, including Decade, Desert Son, and The Funkings. I have been playing regularly ever since.

In 2005 I released my first album of original songs, "Ghosts." I am currently at work on a follow-up, to be called "Northern Town."
