Mark & Carrie Tedder believe that worship leaders can transform the earth.
The WorshiplanetBand is a living expression of his belief that local churches everywhere can experience powerful worship. In the few years since Mark and his wife Carrie began to build the Worshiplanet network of creatives, they’ve recorded live worship in Communist China and post-modern Europe, mobilised worship leaders from Egypt to Thailand; They’ve learned that to change the world one piece at a time, you've got to take risks.

Mark and Carrie work alongside local churches all around the planet, answering questions they have, interacting with the issues they face, and understanding the frustrations they experience.”

Today, Worshiplanet is a growing tribe, a family of around 20 professional musicians, singers and visual artists, gathered from Brazil to Iceland. Practically, their work reaches in two directions: Equipping worship leaders and teams with teaching, hands-on instruction and encouragement, and bringing the Gospel to the streets, through concerts and public performances.

Mark issues a challenge to all of us. “The world’s such an accessible place. Really it’s amatter of us just getting on a plane, taking what God’s given us and giving it away somewhere. Even within England. How many worship bands there are good enough just to go into a local school and do a lunch time assembly? Man, I guarantee there’s tons of them!”
