When the alternative rock outfit Sumack disbanded in 2000, frontman Mark McAdam ventured out on a solo career.
He left Los Angeles for the artsy neighborhoods of New York City's Greenwich Village and began writing songs. He crafted himself a simple, melancholic sound surrounded by acoustic guitars and lite string arrangements. McAdam's debut album Boy Wonder appeared on Superhead in fall 2002. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
