Started dance studies at age 8 with his mother and continued with Anna Mascolo, Solange Golovine, Lynn Wallis, Michel Renault, Violette Quenolle, Vladimir Petrunin...

In 1986 started his professional activity in CNB, where he is a principal C dancer since 1995. Repertory as a soloist and principal dancer include: Concerto (soloist couples and principal couple), K.MacMillan; Nutcracker (Harlequin, Waltz of the Flowers), A.Jorge; Flower Festival and Napoli (principal couples), A.Bournonville; Graduation Ball (Romantic Pas de Deux), D.Lichine; The Four Temperaments (Melancholic) and Agon (Trio), G.Balanchine; Les Noces (Godfather), B.Nijinska; Concerto 622 (Rondo, Trio), L.Lubovictch; La fille Mal Gardée (Alain), J.Garcia; Cinderella (Autumn), M.Corder; The Sleeping Beauty (Bluebird pas-de deux, pas de Quatre), T. Bransen; Petrushka (title role), M.Fokine; Five Seasons and La Dame aux Camélias, M.Balkan; Troy Game (Fast Samba), R.North; Pedro e Inês (D. Afonso IV), O.Roriz amoung others.

CV Music: Studied music theory with M.J.Godinho and in A.A.M, where he studied double bass and chamber music with Fernando Flores and composition with Pedro Rocha. Attended double-bass courses by Ludwig Streicher and worked with conductors Christopher Bochmann, Silva Pereira, Roberto Perez and Michel Swierczewski. He became interested in jazz and began taking double bass lessons at Hot Club Jazz School with David Gausden; took part in workshops with Rufus Reid, N.H.O.P, Eberhard Weber…He has worked within diverse musical contexts and projects: Pedro Caldeira Cabral, Ricardo Rocha, “Sete Lágrimas”, Miguel Azguime, Carminho, Sérgio Godinho, Sofia Vitória, Filipa Pais, Bernardo Sassetti, Mário Laginha, João Paulo, A.P.Vargas, Sérgio Pelágio, Carlos Martins, Tomás Pimentel, Tommy Halferty, André Fernandes, Andy Sheppard, Ralph Peterson Jr., Jon Irabagon, Peter Epstein, David Binney, Paolo Fresu, Ralph Towner…

He composes for Dance and Theatre, and since 2013 also for Cinema.
