Growing up in California, singer/songwriter Marie McGilvray learned to play the guitar as a child and was in bands as a teenager, but then left music to become an occupational therapist.
After moving to Nashville, she returned to singing, songwriting, and playing, to the extent that she recorded an EP, Big Love, released by her own label, SGM (Scottish Goddess Music) on January 16, 2007. ~ William Ruhlmann
