Marcos Yaroide is a Latin contemporary Christian music (CCM) vocalist of Dominican heritage who began his career in the duo Tercer Cielo before embarking on a solo career in 2006.
Founded in 2000 by Yaroide and Juan Carlos Rodriguez, Tercer Cielo released three full-length albums -- En Ti (2000), Tercer Cielo (2003), and Ahora Tengo Mas (2005) -- before Yaroide split for a solo career. Shortly afterward, he made his full-length debut with Cielos Abiertos (2006). Two years later he released his second album, Mi Mejor Alabanza (2008), in association with Machete Music, a subsidiary of Universal Latino. His first major-label effort, Mi Mejor Alabanza includes a newly recorded version of "Todo Se Lo Debo a Él" (originally featured on his debut album) featuring reggaetón artist Divino. ~ Jason Birchmeier
