Marcello Chiaraluce is a guitarist, singer-song writer, music composer and arranger from Alessandria, Italy.
He released two solo albums, "On A Winter Walk" in 2007 and "Crime Of The Rhyme" in 2014, and shared stages with members of famous bands such as Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Fairport Convention, Pentangle, PFM, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Le Orme, Van Der Graaf Generator and others.

Between 2004 and 2012 he was the lead guitarist of Beggar's Farm, the only officially recognised Jethro Tull tribute band, with whom he recorded the live album "Itullians" (Electromantic).

Between 1998 and 2006 he played guitar with Italian pop/rock band Interra Straniera, with whom he released the EP "Per stupirti un po'" (Samigo) and the singles "Ho Bisogno Di Superman" (Samigo) and "Sono In Svendita" (Bit Records).

Marcello has a degree in Jazz Guitar at the Academy of Music of Alessandria, Italy, and is the founder and artistic director on the following projects:

· Rock/Pop/Blues guitar festival GUIT-AL, which featured artists from famous musicians (such as Paolo Bonfanti, Tolo Marton, Christian Saggese, Giorgio “Fico” Piazza ex PFM ) over the years

· "Symphony For The Beatles", where he arranged the orchestra parts

· "Guitar Hero Story", a celebration of the history of the guitar from Chuck Berry to Eddie Van Halen

· Record label "GUIT-AL Records", established in 2013, which publishes Marcello's records

The "Marcello Chiaraluce Band" performs a Classic Guitar show, withsetlists ranging from his own songs to covers of some of the great Rock guitarists such as Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits), Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple), Brian May (Queen), Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, George Harrison (The Beatles), Peter Frampton and others.

Marcello's music highlights all his influences, spanning from Progressive Rock, Hard Rock, classical music, Reggae and Jazz to Country music, blended into an easy and simple format. His sounds feature and specifically incorporate the major commercial shift brought about by the main Progressive Rock Bands (such as Jethro Tull, Genesis and PFM) and by the Album-Oriented-Rock (AOR) bands in the early Eighties.
