Since he first climbed behind the wheel of a Figure "8" race car at the age of 18, Madison has been a winner. He won the second race he entered at Sportsdrome Speedway, Grand Prairie, Texas, and since has finished in the Top Ten in every class he has contested in for a full race season, accumulating over 200 victories.
