Thematically MGK touches on the darker aspects of human existence. War, genocide, religion, envy, anxiety and dark thoughts and lusts are all elements of every single individual mind on the planet and tapping into, and exploring these subjects was the reason for the bands name and subsequently music.

On A Pulpit of Souls was released in June of 2013 and was well received in the underground.

Recordings for a debut album have begun and the band is currently looking for a label.
