Taken from the Sugar Hill motion picture soundtrack, and produced by Dwayne Wiggins of Tony Toni Tone!, it revealed her to be able to switch from sung passages to gripping raps without missing a beat. Her debut album was aided by the production of Terry T and S.I.D. Reynolds.
