Hailing from Riverside, CA, but initially raised in Los Angeles County, Latino MC Malow Mac began rapping in his early teens, went through a brief phase he refers to as "hustlin'," and straightened himself out shortly after his first recordings (made at the studio of Lighter Shade of Brown's DJ Fabe).
After word of his skills spread, he signed to Mr. Capone-E's Thump-distributed Hi Power Entertainment label and released a handful of albums throughout the early 2000s, including 2003's Second Look, 2005's Sly, Slick and Wicked, and 2007's Playing for Keeps. ~ Andy Kellman
