Building on the enthusiasm for photography that he discovered at an early age, Richard has combined a strong educational grounding with extensive professional experience, and enjoys working on a wide range of projects with both individuals and businesses.

Richard is also passionate about creating great portraits and wedding photography, where his approach often draws on a personal interest in photojournalism.

When photographing weddings, Richard’s style is very much documentary-driven. He prefers to take a step back and tell the story of the day without following any tired formulas. All the important moments are captured, but in a candid fashion that recreates the true emotion of the day.

In addition to producing a diverse portfolio of images for numerous private and commercial clients, Richard has been published in a number of magazines and has exhibited throughout the UK.
