Lavaneka Grier born 2/14/87 known byher stage name Mac Bre-Z, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter.
Born andraised out of Atlanta, GA., growing up in Mechanicsville & Decatur, GA. At a tender age she expressed her feelings writing in her diary and beganrhyming. She was persuaded to perform at Columbia High School'sAnnual talent show hosted by DJ Greg Street of V103, where she was discoveredby Hit Afta Hit CEO Johnnie Cabbell which led her signing to Dee MoneyRecords. Then releasing her first single "Uh-Oh" followed bythe remix featuring Crime Mob's Princess & Diamond. In 2004 "MakingAll The Cash" hosted by DJ Scream was the first mixtape of hercareer. In 2005 Bre-Z featured on Gucci Mane's single "GoHead" from his Trap House album. Departing from Dee MoneyRecords she then signed to Gucci Mane's label "LaFlare/So Icy Ent."In 2006, making another placement on Gucci Mane's second album "Hard tokill" featuring on the song "Pillz." While under So IceyEnt. she performed as an opening act for Yung Joc on the Scream Tour5. After ending her situation with So Icey Ent she signed to Cosa Nostraout of Detroit, MI for a year. She then released several consecutivemixtapes; The Kandi Lady hosted by Dj Scream, Confessions Of A Mac Vol. 1hosted by Dj Aaries, Confessions Of A Mac Vol. 2 hosted by Dj Bobby Black, TheMoney Lady, Money Over Men hosted by T.Brewer, and The HBIC hosted by Dj P Exclusivez.Within her music career she has collaborated with many artist: Gucci Mane,Zaytoven, Lil Scrappy, Rasheeda, Shawty Lo, Crime Mob, Yung Joc, Gangsta Boo,La Chat, Yung Ralph, Rich Boy, Oj Da Juiceman, Maceo and manymore. Being in the music industry for 11 years Mac Bre-Z hasperformed all over the East Coast making her name known.
