In the last days of summer (2001),thanks to his friend, he began to play guitar. After an only lesson given by a guitar trainer, he decided to make all alone. Hebegan studying Rock guitarists and he also took a great interest in amplification, sound and computer music. In 2004-2005 he won the Musicity.Org contest gaining the first position in Italy as the best emergent guitarist and best instrumental song on 344 bands. With the contest, his song was inserted in a compilation which was reviewed by Stampa (Paper and WEB).

In the same year, thanks to the computer(For making the other music instrument), he made a DEMO of his old improvisations (years 2003-2004) that had a very good succes in music criticism (he received compliments from national guitarists as Ricky Portera and many other).

In 2006,he made his Internet site and he worked as music teacher in the music school of his country. Now Ludovico Reale lives in London and works as session-guitarist at the PLAY RECORDING STUDIOS, and promotes his music in London 's Music clubs and Pubs.In 2008,Ludovico is endorser for ALIEN PEDALBOARDS with Neil Zaza,Marco Sfogli (Guitarist for James Labrie,Jordan Rudess),Oscar Ortega,Cris Bertini,Alberto Vigano' (Gypsy King) and many other musicians in the Usa,Europe and Asia.At the end of 2009,Ludovico Reale is endorser for Bulk Strings (With Vanilla Sky,Lost,Marta sui tubi and many others) and V-PICKS (With Billy Sheehan,Carlos Santana,Brad Whitford,Stu Hamm,Alex Masi,Bing Futch,Jorge Santana,Danny Jiosa and many others).In the middle of 2012 is artist for Kuassa VST Inc,promoting its musical softwares.With Jeff Loomis (Nevermore),Ola Englund (Feared,Six Feet Under),Keith Merrow,Jeong-Hyun Lim,Derek Buddemeyer,Ludovico is an artist for Positive Grid promoting JamUp Pro XT,the number one IOS application for amp simulation.
