Lucas grew up on a small town of 44 people in Hubbell, Nebraska.
His passion for his music led him to Nashville, TN; he knew it would take hard work to make his dream come true and his hard work has been paying off!

Lucas made his debut on the Ryman stage opening for the legendary George Jones and received a standing ovation in the mother church of country music, just last year.

Lucas has appeared on The Today Show, Inside Edition, the Daily Buzz, Fox 17, Tennessee Mornings, Daytime TV and more to promote his TV show Last Chance Highway which was seen in over 30 million homes each week on Animal Planet. Lucas starred in the show as country singer saving dogs. Lucas also penned and performed the theme song for the show, also titled “Last Chance Highway”, which Discovery Network released to iTunes.

Lucas penned and performed “Give A Damn”, the theme song for the show on GAC TV called Tom’s Wild Life. The show just finished its second season and Lucas appeared in the episode “What Happens in Vegas”.

Being a huge Military supporter, each year Lucas joins the Wrangler National Patriot®tour over Memorial Day in Afghanistan. Wrangler® also picked up his song “Medal Of Honor” as the official theme song for Wrangler National Patriot®. Lucas is the official spokesperson for Guardian Angles for Soldiers Pet, an organization that places soldiers animals in foster homes while they are deployed overseas.

Lucas penned 13 of the 16 songs on his latest self-titled CD including “Have I Done Something” which went # 1on the Inspirational Country Charts in November 2012. The song also inspired his ICM Award “Best Male Vocalist” nomination 2012. He was then nominated as “Entertainer Of The Year”, “Male Vocalist Of The Year”, “Song Of The Year”, and “Video Of The Year” in the 2013 ICM Awards.

Lucas currently has five (5) songs nominated in the Spirit Awards 2013, including“Medal Of Honor”, “Have I Done Something”, How Was I To Know”, “I’ll Meet You There”, and “Hope Lives There”.

His country single “Do What Makes You Feel Good” debuted at #77 with Lucas being in the top most added artists on the country charts that week. The song went to #47 on Music Row charts and # 1 on Power Source Magazine’s top 75 Country chart along with # 1 on the Renegade Radio Top Country 100.

“Should’ve Loved” landed Lucas his first TOP 30 hit song. As # 27 on the Country Break Out Charts, this is the fastest rising single for Lucas to date.
