New York based, Scottish born, Soul, Funk, Gospel and Jazz singer Louisa Rox had her second single released in early 2014 - 'Pray' which she wrote with long term writing partner Andy Taylor was released on Quincy Jointz Lime Sorbet Vol 4 album by Timewarp Music.

In late 2013, Louisa had her first single 'Stand Up' released on Andy Taylor's first album release 'El Pantano' on Wass Records.

Louisa is now working on a new jazz project in New York City and has gone back to her gospel roots, while writing brand new material in 2014-15.

Previously, she sang and performed with the Ronnie Scott's jazz band at the renowned London venue during 2011 and 2012. Louisa also retained her jazz work whilst living in Kenya recently, singing with the Different Faces jazz band.

Prior to this, Louisa had been writing and recording with accomplished London TV and film composer David M Saunders on a new funk composition for TV use.

Louisa was also the vocalist and co-writer with Glasgow based dub band Intrasound, with whom she played a string of summer gigs during summer 2010, including the Insider Festival in Scotland and wrote and recorded 'No Lover' and 'The Night is Long' with.

Louisa was also a guest vocalist for the AD51's at the Great Big Property charity gig in June 2010; Funk - working with Andy Taylor for the last couple of years on a variety of Funk and soul productions and completed both 'Society' and 'Purple' with Andy in 2009. Andy also co-produced and co-wrote Louisa's 2007 track Pray & and 2008 Soul production 'The Streets of your Soul'.

She was also previously an artist/vocalist on the Refo Recordings label. Having been collaborating with Refo and Barry Jackson of Refo Recordings for many years,

Louisa sang and performed with the Gospel Choir for 2 years all over Glasgow. This enabled her to incorporate her love of Gospel music into her solo material and this eventually became a massive inspirational factor in her music in general.
