Born in Harlem, NY, yet raised in Los Angeles, Chad "Los Don" Lucas was bred early on to withstand a life in the entertainment business.
Since he was five years old, he performed as a singer and dancer, emulating acts like Michael Jackson and New Edition. During the early to mid-2000s, Los Don kicked his rap career into gear serving as a precursor act to popular rap artists such as Jim Jones, Fat Joe, and Young Jeezy. Rejecting the idea of signing to a major label, he co-founded his own label and brand, Back to Back Entertainment, in 2005. With backing from Universal, his first proper single, "Real Good Love," featuring R&B singer Ne-Yo, was released in 2008. ~ Cyril Cordor
