"My father was a singer/song writer and I remember being a little boy watching him practice at home and perform on stage. Between both of my parents music of all types was a big part of our life at home. Dancing and enjoying music was something we did all the time. Even now you can catch me giving the performance of my life while I wash the dishes". Loco Mic has been in and around the underground music scene for more than 10 yrs now but still keeps a fresh perspective and edge to his sound. "As far as what type up music I make, I love to mix up my styles. To me music reflects life. Am I always happy? No. Am I always sad? No. Do I always want to party? No..... Yes. My point is I create music and lyrics based of what my feeling is at the time. And as far as lyrics go, well I've been through the ups and downs of life so I use that experience to fuel my words and performance".

Loco Mic Blends an Old School type feel with New School Sounds and Mixes them with everything from Heavy Rock Guitar to House/Club sounding Beats. "It's Hip/Hop at the core, I Rap so the track has to have a strong element to do that on. However, I don't want to feel trapped into one style of music when I create. Some days I want to write a straight up Hip/Hop Joint and other days I wanna Rock out with some guitar. I guess there isn't any limit to my vision for music".

From spoken word performances to pop sounding recordings Loco Mic's music and drive comes from the roots of his childhood. "We had to work hard for everything we had, there were no handouts. The same is true with music. If you want it you have to go get it........ and I'm going for it all". -L.M.
