I began my musical journey in the womb.
I am back on my guitar path after "toying" with cello for a period. This is the humble re-birth of my guitarix path.<3

NOTICE: I just a Guitarist. I happen to be A TRANS DYKE WOMAN and so I AM WHO I AM. Not hiding, faking or trapping. I am a real musician who Just Wants To PLAY MUSIC.
So I started out life differently, transgender? Yep, but I am a guitar player. And hate does not matter that I do what I love.
What I am as a guitarist, and what I strive for?
I am someone who is focused, having taken a detour that brought me back to guitar. My callouses are thicker and blistering than they ever were. I started my guitar career on electric bass in 1989 when I departed from keyboards/piano focus. Guitar was a hobby when I found my first acoustic one a few years later. A divorce, a military stint, a transition, a forced migration, a cellist-in-waiting….and now we have the present.
My attitude is professional when it comes to my music, and I don’t ever want to have discussions from bandmates & musicians about their sexual needs/desires in regards to me. I do have an image and its presentable to the type of music I am involved with.
I strive for expression and not speed. Sound deserves “color” or “tonal color”, along with passion, persistence, and pleasure. I will be the first to leave something when it “stops being fun” for all practical purposes. I am influenced by many things but for guitarists that resonate with me, I’m enamored by harmonics, edge and drive.
My style isn’t cemented in stone but an old Zen saying is:
“A smart fish knows its in water.” -and I’ve been called a fish (Fish Speaker, etc.) before.
Drop a line!
