Having gotten together after vocalist Matt Dalton wrote and recorded a number of metal demos in his own bedroom, LeFT took shape in February of 1998 with the accompaniment of Dan (guitar), Ryan (bass), and Dustin (drums).
Their stance of hefty, emotional angst would eventually complete the persona of the quartet as it brought on their personal lyrics of betrayal, anxiety, and an all-around feeling of ire to Detroit, MI. LeFT would eventually document this sound as Medea Records released their self-titled first album in 1999. My Disease followed in spring 2001. ~ Mike DaRonco
