Lazyeye is an Atlanta rock band that has been making music since high school (1996).
All through college and the long journey since; Chris Giessen (bass), Jacob Heaven (guitar), and Paul Devon Lewow (vocals) have been creating solid and memorable rock music together. In 2006 they were lucky enough to work with and record their Lazyeye CD with the legendary drummer Tony Royster Jr.

Lazyeye recorded a rock remix of Ludacris's single "Get Back" and performed the song with Ludacris on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and on the Spike TV Video Game Awards, in December of 2004. The "Get Back: Rock Remix" was also featured in the remake of the movie The Longest Yard, and later covered by the band Sum 41. Howard Stern featured Lazyeye's song "When the Lights Go Out" on his radio show in October 2007, and Howard is quoted as saying "I like these guys ... They are good; they deserve some attention." Lazyeye's song "Blood in the Air" was featured on the gold-selling album Ludacris Presents: Disturbing tha Peace. Lazyeye signed with Disturbing tha Peace records in 2005, and despite very generous showcases, and recordings with the help of Ludacris and all the DTP family, Lazyeye never obtained a major distribution or recording contract.

Lazyeye's songs have been placed in many popular television shows thanks to APM Music (www.apmmusic.com). These shows include: Wyoming’s Call Of The Wild 2012, American Ninja Warrior, Restaurant Impossible, Right This Minute, and The Definitive Tony Stewart.

The "almost famous" experiences of Lazyeye were very memorable. Chris and Jacob, the founding members of Lazyeye, now entering their 30's, reside in the Atlanta area and have families and beautiful children; they are rock star dads and husbands, so to speak. Paul Devon Lewow resides in Atlanta and is now singing for Avenue of the Giants. Tony Royster Jr. has gone on to be a world renowned drummer playing with all the best musicians in the business, including a long time gig playing for Jay-Z. We hope you come here often for a good dose of solid rock music.
