Born and raised in Northern California, Lauren began "tinkering" on the piano at age 2. By age 12 she was singing, playing, and performing in front of family and friends at holiday gatherings and on other festive occasions.

A naturally gifted talent, Lauren love's to sing, perform, write songs and poetry. Lauren’s musical influences include: Beyonce, Ledisi, India.Arie, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Brandy, Erykah Badu, and many more.

Lauren writes songs in all types of genres, ranging from acoustic, country, pop, and R&B. She gets closer to her aspirations everyday, and even had a chance to meet with Andrew Gould from EMI Music Publishing about her songs. She was a Top 10 finalist in Kuk Harrell's Worldwide Internet Talent Search, Who's Next. Kuk Harrell is a 4x Grammy Award Winning producer who has worked with Beyonce, Justin Bieber, and Rihanna alike. He is now mentoring Lauren, and they are developing Lauren as an artist.

Aside from songwriting, Lauren says that she wants to continue to perform and learn all she can about the music industry. She wants to engineer and learn to play drums.
