The young DJ and producer Lahox was born on the 6th of June, 1990 in San Sebastián.
He grew up in a small village in Mallorca, Spain, where he started his career in the music world.
Now when he is 25 years old, he can be proud of having worked for some of the most important labels in this industry, such as Kontor Records, Cr2 Records, Juicy Music, Pacha Recordings or Blanco & Negro Music, among others.
In 2010, his collaboration with JP Candela, called “How to Be Free” was chosen by the magazine DMC Buzz Chart as one of the best songs in Ibiza, and it was included in the annual compilation “Pacha Ibiza 2011”. Thanks to the success of this hit, he got the chance to remix the last single by DJ Sammy “Look for Love”, which reached the top 100 of iTunes Spain the same week it was released.
Some months later, his debut with Juicy Music came, where he released his work “Munich”, which is supported by great names in electronic music scene. In addition, it was included in some compilations such as “The Whole Nine Yards 2” by First State or “Juicy Music Volume 5” by Robbie Rivera.
In 2013, Lahox started the year remixing one of the most popular artists, MAKJ and his track “Conchy”, also edited in Juicy Music. A short time after releasing the remix, he release his single “Feel” by one of the biggest labels, Cr2 Records. This song was included in their well- known compilation ‘Cr2 Live & Direct’. It also appeared in the magazine “DMC’s Buzz Chart” twice.
At the beginning of 2014 he released the remix that leaded him to be played and known worldwide. We are talking about “What to Do Now”, featuring Robbie Rivera, which was premiered in Sirius XM. It reached number 12 in Beatport Chart and it was included in the Dance Chart of the prestigious magazine Billboard a few weeks later.
A year later, Lahox signed a collaboration with the dj and producer Crusy for Cr2 Records called “Africa”, which it was included on the annual “Miami Compilation” being top 10 on iTunes in more than 10 countries (USA, UK, Canada, France, Spain…).
“Criminal”, his last single in collaboration with the american singer and songwriter Ben Schuller has been released early in 2016 achiving the top 60 on Beatport and being supported by several radio stations and music magazines around the globe.
Nowadays, Lahox can be proud to have received support from many names in dance scene, such as Armin Van Buuren, Tiësto, David Guetta, Nicky Romero, Dash Berlin, Axwell, Tommy Trash, Oliver Heldens, Arty, Laidback Luke, Blasterjaxx, Don Diablo, Stafford Brothers, Thomas Gold, Deniz Koyu, Quintino, Arno Cost, Antoine Clamaran, Dyro, MAKJ, Eddie Halliwell, Morgan Page, Paul Oakenfold, Starkillers, Robbie Rivera, Juicy M David Tort, among others.
Undoubtably, Lahox is one of the upcoming artists in the dance scene to keep in mind and to follow in 2016.
