The band's debut album, called Muriendo Con Las Botas Puestas, came out in 1993. The following year, guitarist Rodrigo Neira joined in while la Floripondio started experimenting new sounds, inviting percussionist Juan Gronemeyer and trumpet player Alejandro Ibañez to participate. After signing up to the independent label Alerce, the group released La Manda Del Ladrón De Melipilla, followed by Atontahuayoprensao. In 1999, la Floripondio moved to Europe where the band started touring successfully. ~ Drago Bonacich
