Featuring members of the infamous Bal-Sagoth, Kull are currently recording their debut album within the seclusion of their own studio, Wayland's Forge.
At the core of Kull beats a something unique. The musical collaboration of the brothers Jonny and Chris Maudling has, for over twenty years, captured the hearts and imaginations of a legion of followers worldwide. Those not so constrained by fear of reaching beyond the veil of accepted boundaries and exploring realms beyond the dogmatic philosophies so commonly adhered to have embraced their vision and avidly rallied behind the banner which they have raised.

Now, with the raising of a new banner, Kull continues to explore the musical odyssey which commenced with the self-styled barbarian metal kings, Bal-Sagoth.

Indeed, the genesis of Kull can be traced back to the unfortunate events surrounding the Bal-Sagoth gigs in London and Liverpool in the summer of 2011, the latter of which saw Tarkan join the band on stage.

With the completion of the Bal-Sagoth hexology, talks began about a new project which would continue in a similar musical vein - developing the musical philosophy and exploration that had thus far been completed.

With the exception of headlining the first night of York's Warhorns festival in 2013, the band have since confined themselves to the studio, writing, honing and recording material scheduled for release in the last quarter of 2014.
