After deliberation of finding members, Kougaran RECENTLY added Bassist, Nick Gettleson, and Rhythm Guitarist, Matt Brock!. With rock that sticks to it’s roots but has a modern twist, Kougaran has a unique Rock sound. Just listen for yourself to see what we have to offer. In the summer of 2013, Kougaran opened for world known Rock Band, STRYPER. Kougaran has also received air play in the UK, Australia, New York, Detroit, and Miami. Kougaran also believes in helping the good cause and has played Benefit shows for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation(JDRF),Relay for Life Cancer Benefit, Rock 4 Tots and Various Public Schools Music Programs to keep music alive in schools.

With a strong start, Kougaran has been building fans from all over the country from east to west coast. In 2014, Kougaran opened for World known rockers such as Autograph, Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel, Mike Tramp of White Lion, Cheap Thrill, Saving Abel, Jack Russell’s Great White, and LA Guns. Kougaran has also participated in festivals such as Rockapalooza 2013, Dirtfest 2014, X Fest 2014, Oscoda Rock Fest 2021 & Hear This! Fest 2022. National Rock Review has written a killer reviews of Kougaran claiming them as “one of the few local rock bands to watch grow” calling them “Detroit’s Young Hellions Of Rock” Kougaran is being touted as the next generation of true rock and roll to come out of Detroit Rock City. Most recently KOUGARAN gaining National attention and is being touted as the next NATIONAL ACT from Detroit , coming off of a National Show at the Legendary DOBBS concert venue opening for National acclaimed Autogragh.

ln July 2015 KOUGARAN opened for world rockers Lynch Mob. On Nov 14th Buckcherry/ Saving Abel wsg KOUGARAN. June 1st Hard Rock Detroit , and June 11 opening for world known Trixter. August 5th, Kougaran had the honor of playing with BulletBoys and also had a two night headlining show in Nashville at Daisy Duke’s rock club August 19th and 20th. In 2017 Kougaran wrote new tunes for a new Album while opening again for Jack Russell’s Great White, and had shows scheduled in June with Joel Hoekstra of White Snake and Brandon Gibbs of Devil City Angels also July Show with Faster Pussy Cat and Nov once again with Lynch Mob…with more to come……KOUGARAN is “The Hellions Of Rock ‘ from Detroit !
