Born and raised in Oakland, California, the young songstress made the decision to move to New York City after falling in love with it during a family trip at the tender age of 14. She immediately felt the city beckoning to her as the place of her destiny - where her dreams would come true. She's since come back to make the Big Apple her home and her musical playground.

A tenured background in musical theater and countless hours of training in various styles and types of dance have given Klairkia an edge in performance and personal stage presence. This has caused her shows to become a sought after segment among various venues throughout the tri-state area. Recent show-stopping performances include New York's Hot 97 Mic Check Wednesday's at Drom, The Hudson River Cafe, "Diva's Night Out" for DJ Uncle Tone's birthday bash, "The Love Jones Series" at the Santos Party House, and the "SoundCheck Live" concert series at SRB Brooklyn. With many more events already scheduled, and other deals being worked out every day, Klairkia is becoming a hot commodity at the best shows within, and surrounding, the city.

The Klairkia experience is also more than just great song and dance on stage. She was recently added to the VCG camp as a Video Host for the local music count down show, Video City TV. Her training in dramatic theater has enabled her to become a chameleon and a Jill-of-all-trades within the music industry. She continues to work on branching out, never detracting from building and creating within her love of music.

Currently in the studio working on her much anticipated EP project, "Doll House," Klairkia plans to invite you, the fans, into her world (house) and show you exactly what she has to offer - setting her apart from everyone else.
