Daniel Riddle started recording, performing and producing music under the name King Black Acid from a very early age.
The first set of bedroom studio recordings were released in the late 1980's. Each album is a different sound and often different musicians joining him in the studio and on the stage. King Black Acid has made music for: The Mothman Prophecies motion picture soundtrack, UnderWorld III Rise Of The Lycans, CSI Miami, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, MTV's Road Rules and The Real World, Dream With Fishes, Do Me A Favor, WitchBlade, CNN Sports, Highway and many other tv shows, films and extreme sports videos. When he is not working under the name King Black Acid, Daniel is recording, writing and producing music for film and television in his Mazinga Studio. Daniel also records and produces quite a few bands and solo artists. Daniel has played in bands with such musicians as John Taylor from Duran Duran, Martin Atkins from PIL, Killing Joke, NIN. Daniel has shared the stage with such acts as: Nirvana, Elliott Smith, Low, Pigface, Gwar, Caspar Brotzmann, Danzig, Faith No More, Spectrum, Moby and many others.
King Black Acid is currently working on a new album with a radically different sound that ventures deep into the dream life of each song.
