Jeremy "Kinetics" Dussolliet and Tim "One Love" Sommers are a hip-hop group and songwriting duo from New York City. They have written for Eminem, B.o.B, Neon Hitch and Melanie Martinez, making their commercial debut as songwriters in 2010 by penning the chorus to B.o.B's platinum selling single "Airplanes" featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore. As artists, they have collaborated with hip-hop legends such as R.A. the Rugged Man and Remedy from Wu-Tang Killa Bees, the internationally known rapper Termanology and the Unknown Prophets, as well as Neon Hitch and Wynter Gordon. The duo has also performed around the world, opening for acts such as Talib Kweli, Mac Lethal and Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels of Run–D.M.C.

Ever since they met in college, rapper Kinetics has been offering a distinctive complement to One Love's instrumentals: while One Love's extensive training in music theory and classical composition is evident in the production, Kinetics's lyrics breathe socially conscious and provocative themes.
