MUSKOKA — A public meeting date for a Muskoka island planning application has been set. Summer Valentine, director of planning for the District of Muskoka, said the regional government had already witnessed “significant public interest” in a development proposal for Langmaid’s Island in Lake of Bays. Preliminary details about the application had come to the district planning and economic development committee meeting in April for information only.
