The 1960's was a time of various music genre's & many subcultures,probably more than any other decade.The early 60's was a 50's hangover of doo wop music,leather jackets,hot rods & the popularity of beatniks.The mid 60's gave birth to the stylish Mod Era,the British Invasion,Motown,West Coast & Bubble Gum music.By the end of the 60's the anti-war & hippie culture emerged.Rock & Roll now had it's Folk Rock & Hard Rock or as we call it today;Classic Rock. This music style filtered over into the early 70's music.By the late 70's Disco became popular & I turned the radio off for a few years.
