She picked up the guitar at the age of 13 and hasn't stopped since. She is self-taught and has been performing since the age of 5. Katie grew up in a musical household and the drive to perform courses through her veins. She writes from experience and sings from her heart. Her writing from personal experience is akin to that of Taylor Swift. Katie has gained most of her fan base through YouTube, posting covers of popular songs as well as original songs of hers.
