Katie goes to Tokyo is Swedish singer songwriter Kathrine Bergström with a past in bands like Backfish and The Wilson Hospital. Katies debut album "Katie goes to Tokyo" was released in 2006. After the release KGTT supported Big Star (US) on their legendary gig in Stockholm 2006.

The second album "My Naked Heart" was released in 2010 and the first single "Little sister" was frequently played on Swedish national radio. Katie recorded videos for all of her songs on "My Naked Heart".

Katie spent most of the spring 2011 in Canada where she performed at CMW and recorded new songs. She also made a video blog from her time in Canada. 2012 she signed a deal with a record label in South Korea.

In spring 2013 Katie recorded an acoustic EP with new versions of previously released songs.

In June 2013 she toured in South Korea and Japan for the very first time.
