The band started out as an acoustic two-piece playing gigs across Ireland and the UK before forming the fuller louder sound they play today. With influences stretching from No Doubt and Smashing Pumpkins to Blink-182 and Alkaline Trio, Kate’s Party’s 90’s infused grrl rock will deliver a live performance which will stay with you long after stepping away from one of their gigs.

Since releasing their debut EP ‘Back Down’ to critical acclaim in early 2012, the four piece have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with bands such as Sick of Sarah (US), Lemuria (US), Chewing on Tinfoil, Heathers, Good Luck (US), Evarose (UK) Mixtapes (US), Ghost Trap (FR), RVIVR (US), I Call Fives (US) and Cheap Girls (US) along with many other great local bands.

They are currently writing their debut album which will be released in late 2013.
